We all wonder that why CA passing percentage is too low, Why so many students fail in their Chartered Accountancy examination. There is an old saying;

 "Failure is there not without the reason"

 Being a CA Student myself, here I'm going to tell the Main reasons of failure in CA exams. These are the reasons that I realized when I failed in CA myself, or by looking at my friends who failed. There are plenty of mistakes which we make during our study period which cause us to fail in CA. Some of those common reasons are listed below:

  • Lack of proper study planning
  • Wastage of time in Useless Things
  • Not attending the classes regularly
  • Lack of motivation 
  • Thinking about studying from Tomorrow
  • Always Busy in Preparing Study Plan and Time table rather than studying the books
  • Satisfying themselves and their parents that failure is common in CA
  • During Exams, Being Unable to understand the question which is hidden in the scenario
    (Of course this occurs when either we have not sufficient practice in cracking the scenario based questions, or we are doing the "Ratta base Study")
  • While attempting the Paper, Lack of planning as to which question should be attempted at first and which one at last
  • Lack of sleep in the night before exam day
    (One of the reasons which cause the students not being able to crack the Question)
  • Lack of time management during the exam
  • Lack of time management during the exam
  • Lack of subject revision
